At BASHES. the float standard is not a suggestion. It is a guarantee.
Every helium arrangement we create carries a minimum 48 hour float time. That means your balloons arrive ready to display and stay beautiful well beyond the moment they are needed for.
Most of our arrangements float significantly longer than the guaranteed minimum. Our proprietary inflation technique and careful attention to latex quality, helium purity and finishing process are what make this possible consistently across every order.
The industry standard for helium latex balloons is approximately 12 hours. Party stores, grocery stores and general balloon vendors work within that window.
We do not.
Every BASHES. arrangement is inflated using our founder developed technique — the same process that has produced documented float times well beyond our 48 hour guarantee. We do not share the specifics of that process. We simply stand behind the result.
This is what separates a BASHES. arrangement from anything you will find elsewhere. The difference is visible. And it lasts.

Pro Tips for Maximum Longevity
Keep arrangements indoors whenever possible. Direct sunlight, heat and wind are the fastest ways to shorten float time. A climate controlled indoor environment protects your balloons and keeps them looking their best longest.
Avoid air conditioning vents and ceiling fans. Direct airflow causes latex balloons to oxidize faster and can cause arrangements to drift or tangle. Keep your display away from direct air sources.
Do not place arrangements near windows with direct sun exposure. Heat from sunlight accelerates the natural oxidation process even indoors.
Handle strings gently. The float time of the balloon itself is strong but aggressive handling of the strings or ribbons can cause balloons to release earlier than expected.
For outdoor display plan accordingly. We recommend outdoor display windows of four to six hours maximum depending on weather conditions. Heat, humidity and wind all affect outdoor float time. Contact us before placing an order intended for extended outdoor display so we can advise on the best approach.
Temperature matters on delivery day. If your arrangement is being transported in a vehicle make sure the car is climate controlled. Extreme heat in a closed vehicle can significantly reduce float time before your arrangement even arrives at its destination. Our delivery team manages this carefully on every order.
Do not refrigerate your balloons. Cold temperatures cause helium to contract and balloons to temporarily deflate. They will re-inflate as they return to room temperature but refrigeration is unnecessary and can affect the finish of the latex.
If you are shipping a balloon box follow the included instructions carefully. Our nationwide helium boxes are engineered for safe transit but proper handling on arrival ensures the best display result.
